Quick update for you guys:

Today, the podiatrist confirmed that I’ll absolutely be getting a toe amputated because of the bone infection in my left foot.

The procedure itself is tentatively scheduled for next week and, in the meantime, I have follow-up appointments + an MRI to make sure the infection hasn’t affected any other bones in my foot.

In the next ten days, I’m looking at 3-5 appointments at various doctors in/around Philadelphia (half an hour away). That means that work is still on the back burner and that finances around here are still in limbo.
